Ten Golf Package Tips
to make your
Myrtle Beach golf Package
the best it can be.

Ten Easy Tips to Create and Experience the Best Myrtle Beach Golf Package.

1- Use a professional reputable Myrtle Beach Golf Package provider. Check their credentials. Believe it or not, there are people out there that will try to take advantage of you.

2- Get written details of your golf package; tee times, accommodations confirmation numbers and other pertinent information, as soon a possible after you have made payment. Call the Golf Courses (confirm tee times) and Lodging providers (confirm accommodation requirements). Some times unintentional errors or omissions are made. The sooner an error is found, the easier it can be corrected.

3- If you will be arriving after normal daily operating hours, call the lodging provider and advise them. Be sure that you understand the late check in (after hours) procedure. Make sure you have the proper on call emergency phone number.

4- Assign room list and tee times (at least the night before) in advance . If golfers are travel from different locations, make sure each one has his copy of needed information; Lodging location, check in information, golf course locations, tee times, etc.

5- A great advantage when arriving at the golf course is having the foursome arriving intact, one foursome, four golfers and four golf bags together. This is particular helpful, if you are part of a large group. Myrtle Beach golf course tee times run at 8 to 10 minute intervals. Get to the golf course ahead of your tee time. Leave plenty of time to check in at the Pro Shop, spend time at the range and putting green.

6- Have your wife / girl friend match / pack you clothes. Get them to make a list of which shirt goes with which pair of pants. There is nothing worst than ending up with a plaid shirt and striped pants on the last day. Understand that most Myrtle Beach golf courses have dress codes. No Jeans, No Cut Offs, No Tanks Tops, No Tee shirts is a good rule to use.

7- Myrtle Beach Golf Packages are based on 13 rate periods. The least crowded weeks are the first week after a rate increase or the first week before a rate decrease. It may cost a little more for these weeks but it may be worth it to you for the smaller crowds. Better tee time availability, and access to second round replays are options during these weeks.

8- Linens and Departure Cleanings are included in your Myrtle Beach Package. Daily maid service in not included in your package unless you specifically ask for it. Most condos have washers and Dyers.

9- Myrtle Beach has three distinct section. South, the Pawleys Island area (30 miles south), Myrtle Beach proper and The North, Calabash, North Carolina area (30 miles north). Try to choose golf courses that are close to the lodging you have selected. Do not try to play one courses in the morning and try to drive thirty miles for an afternoon round. Check golf course locations before you finalize your selections.

10- Make sure to throw away Thee Doll House and Master Club souvenirs before you cross the state line. Be sure to check all nooks and crannies, before you get home
