Pawleys Island, South Carolina is locate 30 miles South of the Myrtle Beach International Airport.
Pawleys Island Golf began in 1966 when Litchfield Country Club opened. Today, we have Eleven Golf Course here in
the Pawleys Island area: Caledonia, Debordieu (Private), Founders Club at Pawleys Island (formerly Sea Gull), Heritage
Club, Litchfield Country Club, Pawleys Plantation, Reserve Club (Private), River Club, Tradition, True Blue,
Willbrook Plantation. These courses are usually listed in most of Myrtle Beach's Top Twenty Golf Courses.
These nine non-private courses above are open to outside play, you can call the courses individually or a golf package
provider such as Myrtle Beach Golf Pros to create
tee times for you.
There are several lodging options available in the Pawleys Island area. One, two and three bedroom condos at Pawleys
Plantation and two and three bedroom condos at True Blue Golf Resort. There are also two traditional style hotels
available, The Holiday Inn express and The Hampton Inn. You also have the option of renting oceanfront or creekfront
homes on Pawleys Island or Litchfield Beach.
Pawleys Island has several of Myrtle Beach's more renowned restaurants. Frank's and Franks's Outback,
Bistro 217 and High Hammock at The Hammocks Shops.
